Kenny
The star of the show is obviously the talent. This little guy scored 54 points in the first round of the tournament by making 18 out of 20 three point shots. With his spring loaded impulse based shooter, Little Kenny can sink those 3's like none other. Fast and agile, he was able to zip across the field, get into position, and receive and shoot more balls than any other team... All without any delay (isn't there a basketball term for shooting a pass right as you get it?). And with his huge chrome plated wheels, his full body team color lighting, and his custom EL Wire neon logo, he is certainly a crowd pleaser.
Sam
Sam did his undergrad at MIT, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford. He likes his Pad Thai just like he likes his women: HOT. Sam was the Beacon Sensing and Coding Guru for the project. His immaculately crafted state machine with timeouts for everything saved Kenny from getting stuck in places where the competition choked under the pressure. When asked how he felt about the workload of the project as a whole, he was asleep.

David
David did his undergrad at U.C. Berkeley in 2005 (Go Bears!). He went on to do process R&D and equipment design for 5 years at Valimet, a metal powder atomization company, before coming back for a master's at Stanford. He served as a PRL T.A. before joining Tom Kenny's lab to do MEMS research. In his free time, he lets the robot shoot trick shots at cups balanced on his head, while he dreams of having time enough to take his Dune Buggies out on the weekends.
